Brief description of company

A small startup based in Benoni, backed by six investors.

They are developing software to automate indexing and processing of paper and digital documents, and to provide digital certification and signing of documents.

They expect their products to be well-received and intend them to grow internationally as well as locally.

 

Requirements:

A diploma or degree in Computer Science would be a bonus. Interns should have excellent spoken and written English, good inter-personal skills, and be presentable as they will interact with clients.

Interns should be willing to learn new skills as the industry technology changes constantly. Good focus and discipline is a must.

Intern will be working in pairs to perform peer-programming, using TDD and Agile methodology, therefore, experience or studies in these fields would be invaluable.

 

Essential Characteristics:

They must be passionate about computers and programming. Ideal candidate should have been programming as a hobby and have written own games, graphics or other programs for the fun of it.

 

Future Prospect:

Once the intern has reached a point where they are able to work independently, they will be reviewed and offered a long-term contract.
