The South African Diamond and Precious Metals Regulator (SADPMR) hereby invites qualified graduates to join the organisation on a 12 months internship programme.

We are looking for high-achieving graduates in the following fields:

  • Information ,Communication and Technology (ITC)
    BSc Computer Science, ND: Information Technology
  • Precious Metals and Beneficiation BSc Statistics,
    ND: Public Administration
  • Diamond Export Exchange Centre
    ND: Public Administration
  • Diamond Inspectorate
    BEng/ND: Metallurgy, Mining, Geology
  • Licensing
    B Degree / ND: Para Legal, Office Administration

INSTRUCTIONS

Graduates must be: South African citizens between the age of 18 and 35. Completed a National Certificate/ National Diploma or Degree in the above mentioned disciplines.

NOTE: Applications must be in an envelope clearly marked APPLICATION FOR THE SADPMR INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME, INDICATING THE RELEVANT DIVISION FOR YOUR APPLICATION.

Applications must be directed to HR Manger, accompanied by comprehensive CV, application letter indicating the relevant division for your application and certified copies of qualifications and ID to P.O Box 16001, Doornfontein 2028 or hand delivered at ground floor SADPMR Building, Jewel City, 251 Fox Street Cnr Greene and Main street, Johannesburg 2028.Applications must be submitted separately if applying for more than one internship opportunity.

Successful candidates will be required to enter into an Internship Agreement with the SADPMR. The SADPMR is under no obligation to employ the intern on completion of the programme. The SADPMR will pay a monthly stipend.
