Complete work assigned by the auditor in charge, ensuring that the purpose of the work undertaken is understood (e.g. froma risk and budget perspective). Perform varied tasks at the client such as vouching material entries /expenses (in order to achieve coverage of whatever the accounts balance is), Auditing cash at bank, Auditing the fixed assets, Performing a systems description and walkthrough, Auditing the income statements, payroll etc.

Notify the auditor in charge of problems encountered in the performance of the planned audit
Informing the auditor in charge of possible over-runs of budgeted time or where budgeted time proves excessive procedures and conclusions reached which might have an adverse effect on the opinion given by management.

Applicant must intend to qualify as a Chartered Accountant (SA) and therefore complete a training contract.
