Job Title: Treasury Manager
Location: Sandton, Gauteng, South Africa
Reference #: TRM02 – Treasury Manager
Contract Type: Permanent

Job Summary:
To manage various treasury activities, including but not limited to cash and forex management.

Duties and responsibilities:

•Maintain an overview of the cash management process on a daily basis plus strategic cash planning
•Maintain the cash for Fund Management companies
•Ensure correct interest payments are made and sufficient funding is available
•Manage inter-company loans and related documentation
•Enter into forward exchange contracts
•Ensure BOP forms are correctly completed for foreign payments and receipts
•Report on CFC accounts in respect of foreign exchange control
•Sign off on treasury journals and recons
•Sign off payments on the banks
•Check commitment fee and guarantee invoices and arrange for payment
•Perform bank reconciliations
•Load and manage transactions onto the treasury management system
•Assist with preparation of treasury reports to senior management and Board sub-committee
•Assist with ad-hoc projects
•Perform loans and interest rate risk activities on a relief basis

Requirements:
Experience:

7 years in a treasury environment / financial markets
Must have operated at a senior level for at least 2 years

Qualifications:

Masters’ degree in Finance area / mathematical qualification / Chartered Financial Analyst
