Hazmat Global Support Services is a global freight forwarding company that specializes in the packaging and movement of dangerous goods.

We currently have over 28 offices globally and 5 offices in South Africa including Johannesburg, Durban, Port Elizabeth and Cape Town.

 

 

 

 

Job Title: Hazmat Global Support
Location: Cape Town

Job Summary:
To add value to the sales department through professionalism and desire to achieve the goals of the organisation.

The business development officer will drive the sales for the Cape Town office by growing new business and developing a base for themselves.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Quoting client for shipment when requested are sent
Developing new business and clients
Customer services and maintaining relationships with existing clients
Ensure targets are met and exceeded
Cold calling
Handling customer queries
Meeting with clients

Desired Experience & Qualification:
Matric
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in the Logistics/Freight industry (Do not apply if you do not have experience)
Having worked with dangerous goods would be beneficial but not essential
Must have a good understanding of all modes of transport air, sea and road as well as the local rules and regulations pertaining to customs imports and exports
It is essential that the candidate has previous sales/business development experiences

Package & Remuneration:
Salary would in the region of R20 000 – R35 000 per month
We are open to negotiations should the candidate have the relevant experience and add value
