Hire Resolve’s client, a reputable and growing engineering consultancy known for delivering high-quality infrastructure solutions across South Africa, is currently seeking a Civil Engineer or Civil Engineering Technologist to join their Cape Town-based team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and skilled individual to contribute to large-scale, multi-disciplinary projects within a well-established and supportive environment.

 

Responsibilities

• Design of municipal services, including preparation of related documentation
• Produce technical deliverables for bulk earthworks platforms, roads, stormwater, sewer, and water services
• Compile bills of quantities and technical project specifications in accordance with SANS codes
• Monitor construction during project implementation
• Prepare as-built drawings and close-out reports
• Develop cost-effective and innovative engineering solutions
• Liaise with municipalities, clients, and multidisciplinary project teams

Requirements

Qualifications:

• B Eng or B Tech in Civil Engineering (Non-negotiable)
• Eligible for ECSA professional registration within 2 to 5 years (advantageous)

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in civil services design
• Proven design experience in bulk earthworks, sewer, stormwater, and water networks
• Experience with Stormwater Management Plans (advantageous)
• Proficiency in Civil Designer and AutoCAD
