Honeywell Vacancies for Snr Project Control Specialist

The Senior Project Control Specialist (SPC) will be allocated large and/or multi projects and functionally reports to the Projects Controls Lead, for the region within which he/she operates, and agrees day-to-day activities with the Program or Centre of Excellence Manager.The SPC is responsible for supervising and coordinating activities on allocated projects, as well as the legitimacy of the work assignments for allocated projects & personnel. The SPC will ensure corporate governance, procedure compliance and will provide technical leadership to Global Project Controls (GPC) personnel allocated to the SPC’s projects.

Direct Responsibility: 

• Responsible in area for maintaining procedure compliance, tools implementation & standards to achieve global consistency
• Accountable for accuracy & timely delivery of schedules on allocated projects
• Prepares the project schedule reports and provides recovery schedules
• Participate in resource planning on a monthly basis on allocated projects
• Participates in project planning processes, define scope, establishing WBS on allocated projects
• Responsible for project control procedure compliance & standards on allocated projects
• Responsible for accuracy of all area schedules, progress reports
• Actively participates in project progress meetings and provides clear, accurate project assessments
• Gives proactive advice to drive successful project completion
• Accountable for the accuracy of earned value data
• Participates in project review meetings for area, accurate project assessments and proactive advice
• Works on agreed projects
• Participates in project controls resource plan, on a monthly basis
• Provide input to the development of project controls tools & methodology
• Strategy development of Global Project Controls Organization
• Participates in project audits
• Assign adequate resources to all projects in office/area
• Responsible for direct reports – discipline, expenses, holiday, timesheets, performance development
• Provide leadership & mentoring of PCO personnel
• Conducts annual reviews of PCO personnel
• Proactive, helpful, constructive, integrity & open communication

Create the Deliverable Control Index for Earned Value calculations
Prepare the Schedule
Review the Schedule, Detailed Planning
Resource Load the Schedule, Resource Planning
Prepare the budget
Baseline the Project
Plan Reporting Requirements
Manage Gating Milestone
Financial Closeout

Earned Value:-

Calculate the EV
Analysis, Maintenance, Progress Tracking

Customer Interface:-

Reconciliation and analysis with external customer


Measure Progress
Track the Schedule
Update the Schedule and Resource Forecast
Manage Change – EAC Approval Process
Prepare Customer Reports


5 years related scheduling experience
2 years Primavera P6 experience
1 year SAP experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
Professional qualification in engineering
Demonstrable leadership experience
