Job Title: Operations Manager – Hotel Hope

Location: Johannesburg

We are looking for an Operations Manager for Hotel Hope, a children home in Melville, Johannesburg. The office is based in Braamfontein, Johannesburg. But daily visits to the children’s homes is required.

The charity has 3 main focus areas:

• Children’s Homes (CYCCs) for orphaned and abandoned babies
• Mothers in crisis – providing guidance and practical support to young mothers with unplanned pregnancies
• Social Enterprise – creating jobs and skills development opportunities through charity shops and a carpentry training workshop

Your role is to ensure the smooth running of the office and provide administrative and operations support to the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the charity. The office assistant will report to you and you should ensure that all tasks are completed correctly. We need someone who can multi task and who is flexible.

Responsibilities:

• Stake Holder Communication
• Donor Communication
• Staff Management
• Office Management
• Marketing and Fund Raising
• Ministry administrative assistance
• Liaising with government & other regulatory bodies

Salary is negotiable and will be based on experience. Drivers license and own transport is required.
