The incumbent will be responsible for providing key administrative support to the recruitment team throughout the entire recruitment cycle for the War on Leaks Project (WOL). The incumbent will report to the Talent Management Officer during the WOL recruitment process including screening CV’s, arranging interviews, interviewing, advising on recruitment queries, preparing employment contracts (guided by the TMOs), and together with all other day to day tasks that the recruitment team covers.
PRIMARY DUTIES
Plans, organizes, and coordinates recruitment activities; meets with individuals, departments and committees to define position, selection criteria, timelines, etc. Gives group presentations regarding recruitment guidelines and committee responsibilities related to selection procedures, development of interview questions/skills tests and writing exercises, and equal employment opportunity guidelines.
Reviews recruitment paperwork for completeness and accuracy such as job announcements, interview questions, record sheets, etc.
Responds to applicants’ inquiries both orally and in writing.
Reviews employment files to verify minimum qualifications for position are met.
Reviews interview questions; offers suggestions to clarify ambiguous inquiries.
Compiles monitors and tracks all recruitment statistics.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12 or equivalent
Post matric qualification in administration field is essential
2-4 years general office administration experience preferably in an HR environment
Knowledge and understanding of the recruitment processes and procedures will be an advantage
Good Communication skills (verbal and written)
Computer Literacy Ms Office Suite
Knowledge of SAP HR will be an advantage
