Vacancy Details

My client in the FMCG industry is looking for a dynamic Warehouse Manager Assistant.

The Warehouse Manager Assistant shall be responsible to serve as a supporting role to the Warehouse Manager. The incumbent will be required to oversee daily operations of the Warehouse, together with management’s guidance.

The incumbent will be responsible for supervising employees and management of customer satisfaction, among other responsibilities.

The responsibilities shall include, but not to be treated as an exhaustive list, namely:

• Resolve any issues/complaints related to the Warehouse operations in a timely and professional manner.
• Receiving and merchandising of stock.
• Completion of stock order forms.
• Inventory management.
• Ensure product quality before stock is to be dispatched.
• Effective quality control.
• Working closely with management to assist in leading staff members.
• Participate in team efforts to ensure sale growth.
• Ensuring the Warehouse is compliant with health and safety regulations, and that staff members are adhering to effective housekeeping rules.
• Completing tasks assigned by the Warehouse Manager.

 

Required Skills

• Administration: 2 to 3 years
• Analytical Skills: 2 to 3 years
• Assistant Manager: 1 to 2 years
• Staff Supervision Experience: 1 to 2 years

Candidate Requirements

• Grade 12 (matric) is essential.
• Tertiary qualification would be an added benefit.
• 3+ years working in a manufacturing/FMCG/logistics environment.
• 1+ years as managerial assistant role.
• Attentive and analytical with administrative tasks.
• Detail orientated.
• Successful follow through.
• Self-motivation and desire for self-development/improvement.
• Team player.
• Conflict resolution skills.
