Our client is a IT hardware and distribution company specialising in the commercial sector.

Job Title: HR Officer – IT & Hardware Distribution
Location: Midrand

Duties & Responsibilities:
We are looking for an HR Officer to support the HR Executive with:

– maintain employee records
– supporting people practices and business objectives
– serve as a point of contact with employees regarding HR related queries
– create regular reports on HR metrics
– provide support in people operations where needed
– support and develop the implementation of HR development and systems
– providing counselling on policy and procedures
– assist in performance management processes
– support the management on disciplinary and grievances issues
– support in policy and legal requirements
– update internal databases e.g. record of sick or maternity leave
– prepare HR documentation i.e. employment contracts

Desired Experience & Qualification:

– proven experience as an HR Office, HR Assistant or other HR related roles
– tertiary qualification in HR: diploma or degree
– knowledge of HR functions
– understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures
– computer literate
– outstanding organizational and time management abilities
– excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– problem solving and decision making aptitude
– strong ethics and reliability

Package & Remuneration:
R20 000,00 OTE per month
