Overview

The Group Systems and Support Services Division within the dti have a vacant position for an ICT Help Desktop Services which is now open for applications.

 

Duties

Handle customer requests, problems and queries.
Restores services availability with minimal interruption
Manage incidents (Classify, register, resolve or escalate unsolved incidents)
Assign incidents to the relevant support technical staff
Assess impact and urgency of the incidents
Register and update customer information
Provide overall IT support on Hardware Software platforms

 

Requirements

National Diploma in Information Technology
1-2 year experience in the ICT Industry,
Experience in :
User account management;
Telephone Administration;
Hardware support;
Network support; and
Exposure to unified messaging
