We are currently recruiting for an experienced and qualified Commercial Contract Manager to join our company.

Job Title: Commercial Contract Manager
Location: Rosebank

Job Summary:
Commercial contract manager with experience in contract management within a technical environment to support the Procurement division with pre and post contract operational support.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Managing pre-contract activities including EOI’s, Tenders and Confidentially Agreements – NDAs
Support tenders to review terms and conditions of major tender contracts, including drafting of commercial/contract management clauses
Support contract draft & implementation in coordination with Group Procurement, Legal and SSC as relevant
Effectively manage the administration of all supplier & Customer contracts
Establish and maintain the Contractual Obligations matrix liaising with business users to ensure obligations are understood and effectively implemented within the respective functional activities i.e., carry out contracts performance management activities.
Maintain contractual records, documentation such as receipt and control of all contracts correspondence, contractual changes, status reports and other documents for all projects.
Ensure contracts database is UpToDate and all contract renewals are reviewed/acted on time.
Ensure that signed contracts are communicated to all relevant parties (Suppliers & End users) to provide contract visibility and awareness, interpretation to support implementation.
Develop and foster successful, long-term business relationships and ongoing process improvements with key suppliers, internal stakeholders, and peers to enable ensure contracts and contract management is effective

Desired Experience & Qualification:
Bcom Law or legal degree with commercial law as a major, or Bcom business management
Experience of 5+ years in a contract management role, ideally at a telecoms company or IT/Technical company
Track record of independently managing contracts
Experience of working with cross-functional teams in complex sourcing projects
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
South Africa supply market knowledge and experience is a requirement
Expert Level in MS-Excel and Powerpoint and relevant Procurement tools/systems
Strong project management skills to instigate, deliver and supplier performance manage direct and outsourced suppliers
Postgraduate business degree would be an added advantage
