Job Title: Chief Operations Officer

Location:

Report to: The Executive Director.

Salary: R 583 733 52 to R 650 000, negotiable based on years of experience

The purpose of the Chief Operations Officer (COO) shall oversee, direct, and organise the work of all organisational operations, ensuring smooth operational coherence and a high standard of functioning within Programme Delivery, Monitoring and Evaluation, Finance, Human Resources, Technology, Administration, and day-to-day operations. The COO will support the achievement of IkamvaYouth’s impact targets of learner reach, quality of passes and post school placements, as well as the active living of IkamvaYouth’s values through day to day application.

Requirements:

• Relevant degree in Business Management, Development Studies or a related field or proven experience in same
• Eight or more years of experience in a senior operations leadership position
• Experience in donor-funded environment is essential
• Experience in the education field would be advantageous
• Significant experience in Finance and HR Management is required
