Innovation: Africa is a nonprofit 501 organisation that brings Israeli solar, water and agricultural innovations to rural African villages. It has provided one million people across Africa with access to vaccines, light and clean water.

Job Title: Field Officer
Job Location: Mpumalanga
Reports to: Regional Director: Mpumalanga Province

Responsibilities:

• Monitor the implemented projects through filling the survey forms
• Conduct the survey for the prospective projects
• Facilitate the formation of the project steering committees
• Represent Innovation Africa in local level community meetings
• Network with other key partners, NGO’S and other government departs.
• Prepare work plans for all scheduled activities

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Qualification in Development studies, Social Services and any related qualification
• Two years’ experience or voluntary in development work
• Facilitation skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Knowledge of data collection tools and techniques
• Ability to plan or schedule activities independently with minimal supervision
• Commitment to Innovation Africa development aims and goals
• Ability to mobilise the community leaders and engage with them concerning developmental issues
• Ability to work under pressure
