East London is a city located in the Eastern Cape Province; east London is located on the southeast coast of South Africa, on the coast of the Indian Ocean between the Nahoon River and the buffalo River. The major job opportunities in east London are in the tourism sector which is big contributor the economy of east London, the tourism sector in east London has grown rapidly over the years.
There are many tourist destinations in the city such as the East London Aquarium, East London Museum, East London Zoo, Mpgongo Private Game Reserve, Inkwenkwezi Private Game Reserve, etc. the tourism sector provides jobs for waiters, hotel mangers, chefs, bartenders, tour guides in the various tourist resorts such as Yellowsands, Queensbury Bay, and glen Eden.
East London has a vibrant economy and is the second largest center of industry in the province. Mechanics, fit and turners, mechanical engineers, and auto-electricians can find work in the motor industry in the city, the motor industry is the major employer in east London, with the biggest automobile plant being the Daimler Plant which is situated near the harbour , the motor I industry manufacturers international brand cars such as Mercedes Benz for both local and export market and thereby creating job opportunities for people in the export and import business, freight truck drivers, and car dealers. East London also has good clothing and textiles industry that employs many people in the fashion industry such as fashion designers, models, etc, the food processing industry also provides jobs for factory workers. East London has a good transportation network that links it with the rest of the country, there is the N2 highway, the N6 highway, the east London Airport, these provide job opportunities for people in the transport sector such as drivers, haulage truck drivers, pilots, air hostesses, flight attendants.
Sports also provides many job opportunities for people like coaches, sports, administrators, athletes, media and broad cast people. The major sports offered in east London are cricket, rugby, motocross, and football.
