  • All applicants should be in possession of a B.Com degree with 3rd year accounting (NQF6)
  • Preferably 5 years’ experience in Receivables, Credit Management or similar environment
  • Knowledge of ArcelorMittal’s accounting policies & procedures
  • Management experience

Key Performance Areas:
  • Responsible for Accounts Receivable functions (including trade, sundry and intergroup transactions)
  • Minimize the Accounts Receivable collection period
  • Minimise bad debt in conjunction with Credit Management and the Legal department
  • Cash flow management
  • Responsible for accurate and timeous reporting and month-end closure
  • Ensure accurate & timely cash flow forecasting to Treasury department
  • Ensure timeous and accurate forecasting of Receivables for the MRF and budget
  • Cash management, credit card management and overseas travel claims
  • Responsible for BAR- review reporting for Receivables
  • Ensure adequate internal control processes
  • Continuous improvement projects
  • Manage relationship between Accounts Receivable, Marketing Department and customers
  • Responsible for development of key personnel
