The Johannesburg Roads Agency (JRA) invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the Internship programme.
In line with the Company’s learning and development as well as talent acquisition and management initiatives, the JRA offers comprehensive learning opportunities to unemployed graduates to acquire skills and experience in various learning areas.

The JRA therefore invites applications for a 12-month Internship programme. This programme is aimed at enhancing the employability of the unemployed graduates who have graduated in various study fields. Successful candidates will be required to enter into a formal Internship Contract with the JRA. Successful candidates will be paid a monthly stipend for the duration of the programme.

Requirements

Applicants must have completed a Bachelor’s degree / National Diploma in one of the following study fields:

Risk Management Grad / Intern

  • Bachelor’s degree / National Diploma in Accounting / Risk Management

Finance Grad / Intern

  • Bachelor’s degree / National Diploma in Commerce / Accounting / Financial Managment

Internal Audit Grad / Intern

  • Bachelor’s degree / National Diploma in Internal Audit / Accounting

Human Capital Management Grad / Intern

  • Bachelor’s degree / National Diploma in Human Resource Management

Legal Grad / Intern

  • Bachelor’s degree LLB / Commercial Law

Marketing and Communication Grad / Intern

  • Bachelor’s degree / National Diploma in Communications / Public Relations

Facilities Management Grad / Intern

  • Bachelor’s degree / National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (accompanied with project management training)

Engineering Grad / Intern

  • Bachelor’s degree / National Diploma in Civil / Electrical Engineering / Construction Management or students in those fields requiring experintial training – P1 and/or P2 for attainment of full qualification

Information Technology Grad / Intern

  • Bachelor’s degree / National Diploma in Computer Science / Information Technology / Information Management


The following documents should accompany your application: • A brief Curriculum Vitae with a covber letter •  Cerfified copies of Identity Document, Senior Certicificate and qualifition including an academib transcript.
