Job Title: Layout artist
Location: Modderfontein, Gauteng, South Africa
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: Market Related

Job Summary:
The purpose of the Layout artist is to develop artwork visuals that are an accurate representation of the customer’s branding requirements on the selected product and to communicate any branding limitations. The Layout artist is further required to create the positive of the artwork for screen printing orders.
Requirements
Education

NQF 5 Diploma Essential
NQF 6 Graphic Design Essential
NQF 6 Fine Arts Desirable

Knowledge:
Branding Processes and requirements (Pad printing, screen printing, engraving, Point of sale, Direct digital) Advanced Essential Product knowledge and branding options Advanced Essential Colour Separation knowledge Intermediate Essential Pantone Colors Advanced Essential Design Principles Basic Essential

Layout artist 2-3 years’ in gifting or printing industry Essential
