This UK based company delivers website design and development services to a niche sector of the medical space. They are currently seeking a designer to join their team to assist with putting together the home page and internal pages of client websites, using their tried and tested formula.

Applicants should have a good eye for design and an understanding of what fundamentals are vital for website aesthetics.

Note: This role is a long-term Independent Contractor role, which means you will be required to submit an invoice to the client monthly on an agreed monthly rate. As this is a UK based company, the successful candidate would be required to work UK hours, depending on the time of year it is a 1 – 2-hour difference.

Job Summary:
Duties & Responsibilities:
Design the highest converting homepage designs
Design internal pages for websites
Test websites once the coding team codes your designs
Work closely with clients to guide them through the design process

Desired Experience & Qualification:
Minimum Requirements:
Setup to work comfortably from home with a stable internet connection
Experience with using design platforms such as Figma, Sketch and Photoshop
Be adaptable and willing to learn new techniques
Have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Be able to work independently and self-manage your time
Be able to work to tight deadlines
Be thorough and precise in your work
Be able to multi-task
Be a self-starter and use your initiative
Be ready to learn about our niche and invest time in learning

Package & Remuneration:
Remote, for applicants living in South Africa
R20 – 25 000 per month
Duration: Long term Independent Contractor
