KZN Dept of Transport: Busary / Scholarship Programme 2019

The Department of Transport Bursary Programme is offering bursaries to students who are residents of KwaZulu-Natal and interested in pursuing a tertiary qualification in the fields of study mentioned below.

CLOSING DATE: 9 NOVEMBER 2018

• BSc Civil Engineering
• National Diploma: Transportation Economics
• Diploma: Transportation Management
• Diploma: Logistics Management

Applicants should have already been accepted / provisionally accepted or in possession Of a CAO receipt. Applicants must be between the ages Of 18-35 years.

The funding is for applicants who are from previously disadvantaged backgrounds and from vulnerable groups. The awarding of funding is guided by the skills needs of the Department.

The academic performance of the applicant will be taken into consideration.

How To Apply

• Coded Bursary Application Form for 2019 (also obtainable from the Departmental website and Department of Transport Offices )
• Certified copies of applicant’s Identity Document including parents/guardian ID Copy
• Certified copy of Matric Certificate or Grade 11 report
• Proof of income of parent / guardian
• Proof of registration/ acceptance letter from the institution
• Proof of unemployment from the Department of Labour if parents / guardian are unemployed.
• Motivation letter
