LabourTek is thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a Junior Electrician to join a vibrant agri-FMCG team in the scenic Western Cape! If you have a passion for electrical maintenance and are ready to contribute to a thriving environment, this could be the ideal role for you!

As a key member of the electrical team, you’ll be responsible for maintaining electrical equipment, implementing and refining preventive maintenance practices, managing job cards, and responding to breakdowns as needed. A focus on optimizing and troubleshooting various electrical and electronic systems—including packing and sorting machinery—will be essential.

Candidate Requirements

We’re looking for candidates with an electrical trade test certification and a valid Wireman’s license. While PLC experience is advantageous, a solid knowledge of OSHACT (Occupational Health and Safety Act) is required, and mechanical experience is a plus. The role requires physical fitness, the ability to work at heights, and computer literacy. Flexibility is key, as the position involves overtime and standby duties.
