Learnerships Project at City of Cape Town

The City of Cape Town Municipality, in partnership with the Local Government SETA, would like to invite interested people to participate in learnership programme, scheduled to start in 2015.

Learners will receive and allowance of R3364.50 per month.

Applicants may choose to participate in one of the following learnership opportunities.

 

Learnership Outcome and Requirements

FETC: Archives & Records Management

Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
Proficient in English
Numeracy skills and strong verbal and written communication skills

 

NC: Contact Centre Support

A Senior Certificate (Gr 12)
Fluency in at least two of the languages of the Western Cape (Fluency in Afrikaans would be advantageous)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Problem Solving Skills
A real passion for customer service and service excellence (Call Centre/Customer Relations experience would be advantageous)
Strong people skills
Ability to type
Basic numeracy skills
Computer literacy

 

NC: Payroll and Administration Services

A Senior Certificate
Proficiency in at least two languages of the Western Cape
Proficiency in Mathematics or Accountancy
Good verbal & written communication skills
Computer Literacy
Target Group

Unemployed people from the communities of Cape Town.
People with Disabilities will be given preference.
