The Legal Administrator Consultant contributes to the organisational goals by recovering costs incurred by both the Company and customers not legally liable for the incident, in a time effective manner to ensure customer satisfaction
Duties & Responsibilities
Meet or exceed set departmental targets (e.g. revenue, turn around times etc.)
• Ensure accurate interpretation of merits to determine liability
• Ensure capturing of detailed, accurate information
• Ensure regular feedback to customers and other stakeholders, as determined by the company and/ or customer requirements
• Take accountability for the resolution of customer complaints, with a view to customer retention
• Be innovative and use judgement to solve unique or unusual customer situations outside set parameters, with a view to customer retention
• Adhere to internal procedures (to drive cost management)
• Adhere to external SLA’s (e.g. with tracers, other insurers etc.)
• Remain up to date with changes to relevant legislation (Knock-for-knock agreements, etc)
• Ensure up-to-date knowledge of all Company products, systems and procedures
• Provide appropriate and timeous solutions to problems
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal (e.g. claims, legal) and external (e.g. attorney firms, insurance providers, service providers) stakeholders.
• Deliver the Telesure Service Way through personal effort
Minimum Job Requirements Formal Qualifications:
Level of Education:
• Essential: Standard 10 / Grade 12 / University Entrance NQF4
• A legal qualification or similar an advantage
• This position requires FAIS compliance
