Job Title Head of Sales, Channels & Marketing
Location: Mbabane, Eswatini

Job Summary:
1.Ensure implementation and evaluate the success of comprehensive product management, marketing and communications programme that will enhance the country’s image and position within the marketplace and the general public.
2.Coordinates media interest in the country and ensure regular contact with target media and appropriate response to media requests.
3.Develops short- and long-term plans and budgets for the marketing/communications/public relations programme and its activities, monitors progress, ensures adherence, and evaluates performance.
4.Works with country management, other staff and volunteers to develop and maintain a strategic perspective based on marketplace and constituent needs and satisfaction
5.Ensures the management of product development projects and Customer Service within the country.
6.Researches pricing changes in the local market.
7.Ensures implementation of solutions for Channels in the local market, e.g. Agency Banking, Cards, USSD, Internet Banking, Mobile Banking Portfolio
8.Coordinates the functions of product design, product maintenance, and product improvement, ensuring that the product resonates with the consumers and, therefore, boosting the product appeal to the consumers and increasing the consumer base and sales volume.
9.Implement the strategies and policies approved by the Board, develop processes that adequately identify, measure, monitor and control Risks faced by the institution.
10.Ability to develop and communicate well structured proposals, including country and regional action plans.
12.Ability to design and conduct research and interpret data for developing strategic plans.
13.Ability to interact with management and optimize the business in country.

Requirements:
Education:
1. University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing or Communications.
2. MBA or similar level Post graduation qualification would be an added advantage

Experience:
1. Minimum of 10 years successful experience in a marketing/sales function within the financial services/retail or banking.
2. Atleast 5 years in senior management role.
3. Experience in working with and delivering results through various channels, including both face-to-face and electronic media interactions.
4. Extensive knowledge in a variety of disciplines such as Marketing, Product Development, Sales, Operations, and Digital Marketing.
5. Analytical and creative, with experience to design plans, direct and coordinate marketing and product development budgets in accordance to organizational goals.
6. Brand strategy, advertising and promotion, traditional and digital marketing.
7. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and interact on behalf of Executive Team with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
