LEA is a co-ordinated and focused one-stop shop Authority that provides development and support services to the Small, Medium and Micro Enterprises in Botswana, encompassing provision of business advisory, training, mentoring, business incubation, market access, technology and innovation support.

 

Job Title: Manager, Information and Knowledge Management
Location: Gaborone, South East, Botswana
Reference: # HC10-20
Contract Type: Contract

Specification
To manage and direct the research initiatives designed to develop abreast information repositories and relevant programmes. The position holder will develop and implement research and development procedures and techniques. In addition, the position holder will oversee complex research projects, analyse results and provides recommendations based on findings and also oversee the effective use and appropriate management of the Authority’s records.

Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Management, Knowledge Management, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics or related areas. A Master’s Degree would be an added advantage.

Experience
At least five to eight years’ experience in industry research and business analysis.

Strong background in initiating, coordinating and analyzing policy research data. In depth experience of research methodologies is essential.
