Vacancy Details

Our client, a market leader in the packaging sector, seeks to employ a qualified and experienced DTP Operator, for their division based in Stellenbosch and who thrives in a high pressure and progressive environment. Please note that rotational standby where necessary, thus own transport is preferred, and local candidates will receive preference

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION.

• You will have a minimum of Matric, coupled with 3 – 5 years’ experience using Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Distiller, Acrobat and Suitcase, working on an Apple MAC platform, as well as ESKO or similar workflow automation software experience.
• Proven experience with preparing print-friendly artwork for the flexographic print process, as well as preparing digital artwork for HP Indigo print process will be a must,
• You will have proven experience with re-touching images and colour correction, as well as preparing embellishments such as hot foiling, embossing and screen prints.
• Preferred experience will include preparing sleeves for print and a qualification in Pre-Press or Print
• You will be a team player, self motivated, organised and creative, with a strong customer focus and have good communication skills.
