Management & development of the Sub-Saharan mining industry

After an initial training period at our head office based near Liège, your responsibility will consist of visits to existing customers in South Africa and neighboring countries. You will draft and implement a key account man¬agement plan and contribute to action/business plans designed to secure and maintain markets. After the analysis of customer needs, you will ensure an efficient follow-up of the contracts, including installation deadlines, technical expertise related to Magotteaux products and processes, etc. You will report to the Sales & Marketing Manager for the Sub-Saharan African Region and join a dynamic team of 25 people.

Hands-on engineer with commercial flair

A Commercial Engineer with strong technical insight or Industrial/Civil Engineer (mining/mechanics/science of materials) with strong commercial flair, you a have a successful experience (min. 4 years) in key account management and business development in a B2B environment (heavy industry, metallurgy, steelworks, etc.). You are fluent in English and you have a good command of Dutch. Knowledge of French is an asset. Persuasive with strong interpersonal skills, your success in sales comes from building long-term customer relationships and from your technical insight. You are hands-on with business acumen and have commercial flair. You are adaptable and used to working in a multicultural environment.
