Requirements: A recognized three-year diploma / degree or equivalent and trade test in Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Civil Engineering / Plumbing / Carpentry. Experience in Operating specialised equipment, tools or hardware.

 

Knowledge: ●DoL and Compensation Fund objectives and business functions ●Maintenance subdirectorate goals and performance requirements ●Compensation Fund Services ●Compensation Fund Value Chain and business processes ●Relevant Fund policies, procedures and processes

●Customer Service (Batho Pele Principles) ●Specialised tools, equipment and hardware ●Required health and safety policies and procedures ●Relevant external building industry legislation, norms and standards ●Technical Knowledge.

 

Skills: ●Required Technical Proficiency ●Business Writing ●Specialised tools, equipment and hardware ●Auxiliary Services.

 

Duties: ●Ensure that maintenance duties and general upkeeps are carried out in various maintenance premises, carry out duties to ensure the general upkeep and maintenance of the premises ●Adhere to Occupational Health and Safety standards, legislation and Fund quality standards and procedures ●Performing (routine) ●Maintenance Assist with the effective operations of the fund.
