CENTRE : 2 x Chris Hani Facility Maintenance Hub, 2 x Charlotte Make Facility
Maintenance Hub, 3 x Thelle Mogoerane Facility Maintenance Hub (New

SALARY : R158 985 – R187 275 per annum (Plus benefits)

REQUIREMENTS : A recognized National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent OR
N3 certificate or Equivalent with Passed Trade Test. A valid Drivers’ Licence.

A minimum of 1 year appropriate post qualification experience.
Competencies: National Building Standards Act of 1977, Regulations and
Municipal Regulations. Promotion of Access to Information Act of 2000.
Promotion of Administrative Justice Act of 2000. Government Immovable
Asset Management Act of 2007. Occupational Health and Safety Act of 1993
and Regulations. Public Finance Management Act. Skills- planning and
organizing, verbal and written communication and computer literacy skills.

DUTIES : Provide technical inputs to Client’s Department in drawing up specifications
and monitor compliance by service providers regarding health and safety
matters. Implement regular compliance inspections and audits. Conduct
investigations into accidents and clients complaints. Make recommendations
on mitigation measures to prevent recurrence of accidents. Provide technical
advice regarding works inspection services.

CENTRE : Directorate: Infrastructure Delivery (1 x Northern Cluster, 1 x Southern
Cluster, 1 x Eastern/Central Cluster)
REQUIREMENTS : A recognized National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent OR
N3 certificate or Equivalent with Passed Trade Test. A valid Drivers’ Licence.

A minimum of 1 year appropriate post qualification experience.
