If you’re creative, interested in news and have lots of drive to succeed in an exciting, pressured magazine environment the internship opportunity you’re looking for could be at Media24’s new weekly news magazine, NewsNow. Media24 Weekly Magazines is offering a one-year internship for graduates wishing to get into magazine design.

JOB SUMMARY
The main responsibility is to design layouts of editorial, promotional pages and supplements quickly and creatively. You may be required to work on other titles within the weekly magazines division.

The ideal candidate:
-Has a tertiary qualification in graphic design or a related field
-Must be prepared to work under deadline pressure, sometimes for long
hours
-Has the ability to be flexible in terms of different design styles
-Has working knowledge of InDesign and Photoshop
-Has the ability to function within a group and maintain good interpersonal
relationships
-Is an innovative thinker with creative flair
