Reporting segment: Metso Corporation
Direct sales of Pyro products according to agreed sales plans.
Provide technical support and service internally and externally to ensure customer satisfaction.
Facilitate the preparation of customer quotations.
Willing to travel.
Promote service, in the allocated areas of responsibility to various clients.
Visit customers in accordance with ranked call schedule and execute spares sales.
Retrieve drawings of spares from engineering department and identify the appropriate spares when received
Ensure the correctness of spare specifications, prior to quotation.
Promote equipment upgrades where potential is identified
Give expert advice to customers, in respect of spares and services.
Identify reconditioning, field service and life cycle service opportunities.
Work together with various ETO Product Specialists ( Head Office )
The external sales team, and the respective branch managers.
Metso FSE and LCS
ND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Previous experience as a Sales Engineer for a mining equipment supplier would be an added advantage
Good interpersonal and negotiation skills
Good market knowledge
Good technical and sales background of rotating equipment.
An existing customer network would be beneficial
Computer literacy is essential
