Mezzanine Ware (Pty) Ltd a market leader in the development of mobile business solutions, located in South Africa, has the following position available:

Job Title: Head of Marketing 
Job Location:  Cape Town

The Head of Marketing will be accountable for developing Mezzanine’s marketing strategy, building the corporate brand as a well-known brand to our target market. The individual will ensure that the business marketing communications promote the right message to maintain a good brand image. The individual will report to the Chief Sales Officer and work with internal stakeholders and agencies to develop content, capturing our impact field stories, and use digital and other platforms to connect with applicable target markets.

The ideal candidate will be strategic, innovative and creative with strong business acumen. The individual will be able to manage the whole marketing function and understand channel enablement. The individual will be hands-on, a good problem-solver and effectively outsource appropriate activities.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ of marketing and brand management experience in a similar environment
• Marketing strategy development ability
• Experience in senior level roles
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Experience in managing projects and budgets
• Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
• Experience with digital and print marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
• Internal company experience in the marketing function

Advantageous

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration or related field
• Marketing experience in the impact industry
• Experience working for a marketing agency
