responsible to liaise, investigate and provide Microsoft licensing advice and specialist consulting to customers in terms of the following:
T-36 Programme Management and Software Assurance Benefits Activation. This will be achieved through co-operative and interactive consultation with the Business Development Support, Licensing Desk and the Microsoft SAM team. Overall accountability for the successful delivery of all Microsoft licensing activities in line with the required behavioural pattern.

CONTEXT
The Microsoft Lifecycle Management business will provide a single platform strategy for Microsoft for BCG globally and provide the full lifecycle management to the Microsoft Licensing customers.
1. Microsoft Licensing Specialists: Is responsible to liaise, investigate and provide Microsoft licensing advice and specialist consulting to customers in terms of the following: T-36 Programme Management and Software Assurance Benefits Activation including Regional Support (including other countries)
2. Microsoft Platform Management: Is responsible to manage vendor interface and strategies within BCG with Microsoft in terms of the following: Microsoft Partner Network, Learning and Assessment, Certifications, Channel Incentive Program (CHIP), Rebates and Vouchers, Software Assurance Claims and Recoveries (DDPS; SDPS)
3. Microsoft Licensing Desk: Is responsible for quoting, ordering and billing of all transactions in terms of Microsoft engagement
4. Asset Management (MS SAM & ITAM): is responsible for full contract management and IT asset management to all BCG customers as well as performing Microsoft Software Asset Management per Microsoft Guidelines in terms of the following: SAM Infrastructure Optimisation, Compliance Effective License Position (ELP), Contract Negotiation, Discovery Tool Management and Deployment and Reporting

ROLES
Responsible to assist the Managing Executive: MLM with the establishment, design and implementation and continuous functioning of the Microsoft Licensing Specialist Function focussing on the following:
T-36 Programme management
Solution Planning Phase
Renew Phase
Client Specialist Advise
ADDITIONAL:
A sales plan will be put in place based on customer list allocated and quota for all Microsoft related business.
Quota subject to account allocation.
On risk portion of TCC = 30%EDUCATION
Grade 12
Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) MCP must be current
Sound Microsoft product and licensing knowledge including proficiency in SPLA
NQF Level 4 plus relevant IT diploma or Degree, NQF Level 5 or 6 preferable

5 years in a Microsoft licensing role
