MARKETING OFFICER
REF : SSM/MKT 001

In the: SSMB DIVISION

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
 Assist in the development of the division’s marketing strategies and plans, both short and long term to ensure the sustainability of the division.
 Maintain the division’s website.
 Prepare marketing presentations for clients and funders.
 Write reports and record all communications with clients and manage staff call reports and proposals.
 Acquire a comprehensive knowledge of all of the products, services and technologies within the division.
 Advise the Division of the particular marketing, advertising and promotional requirements
including placement of articles in relevant publications, brochures, videos and posters
 Gather market intelligence for furthering the commercialization of the division’s services, products and technologies.
 Assist in training of SMME’s in aspects of marketing from time to time.
 Assist the Division to source funding for training of potential SMME’s
 Ensure that all SHEQ procedures and standards are adhered to.

 

JOB KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
 2-3 years’ experience in marketing since graduation.
 Computer literate ( MS Office, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)
 Report Writing and Communication Skills
 Knowledge of the design of marketing material (brochures, websites, videos)
 Experience with community based projects and/or mining and minerals projects will be advantageous
 Driver’s license is compulsory
 Willing to travel extensively both locally and overseas

 

QUALIFICATIONS:
 A minimum of a National Diploma in Marketing (NQF 6)
 BTech/B.Com (NQF 7) or Hons Degree (NQF 8) in Marketing will be advantageous.

GRADE: AO2 SALARY PACKAGE: R 208 500 CTC per annum negotiable
