Job Title: IT Technician
Location: Centurion, Irene

Job Summary:
Duties & Responsibilities:
Install and maintain network hardware and software, including device management
Analyse and isolate network related issues
Monitor networks to ensure compliance, security, and availability
Evaluate and modify systems performance
Identify user needs
Determine network and systems requirements
Maintain integrity of the network, server deployment and security
Maintain network servers
Desktop support for infrastructure and software
Provide computer orientation to new company staff

Desired Experience & Qualification:
Grade 12 must have
3 year IT Diploma
Minimum 4 years’ experience in IT Networks, Information Security, and related
A+, N+ Preference , and MCSD
IT professional certification (e.g, networking, cloud infrastructure)
Office 365 administration
LAN/WAN
Windows Server Administration/OS administration
Active Directory Administration
Backup administration and monitoring
Azure administration (Web Apps) and Cloud Hosted Workloads
Knowledge of hosted server architecture
Hyper-V Administration
VMWare Administration
Cybersecurity principles
Extensive knowledge of desktop, server, and network support
Production application support experience
Valid drivers’ license and own transport essential

Package & Remuneration:
R12000 – R15000
