Salary: R181 770.12 – R235 935.84 per annum (111)

A relevant 3-year tertiary qualification
2 years’ relevant experience
A Code B driver’s licence
Fluent in at least 2 of the official languages of the Westem Cape
Good written and verbal communication skills
The ability to function independently without constant supervision
Proficiency in Xhosa will be an advantage.

Key performance areas:
Provide an employee assistance service to enable Management to build the productive capacity of each individual in the organisation
Prevent the impact of political, social and economic problems on the individual, the organisation and the community
Educate and develop staff
Perform administrative functions
Manage HIV or any similar programmes (eg Wellness day)
Provide a counselling service to staff
Coordinate absenteeism management programme
Manage absenteeism in relation to incapacity
Provide counselling services to staff addicted to alcohol and drugs
Provide training to supervisors and employees regarding wellness awareness.
