Job Title: HR Admin
Location: Johannesburg
The purpose of this position is to find a person to fulfill duties in support of the Human Resources Manager. Forming and maintaining employee records and systems. Giving support to the managers and staff with their HR needs.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with all internal and external HR related matters
- Maintain employee staff files
- Process leave monthly and maintain leave records
- Keep track of the attendance registers
- Carry out all filing and record keeping done in the HR department
- Attend to enquiries and requests from staff
- Process payment requisitions
- Ordering of stationery for the department
- Processing of terminations and pension claims
- Complete UI-19 forms and related documents
- Type certificates of service
- Liase with the department of labour to resolve issues around termination of employment
- Transfer terminated staff files into the termination cabinet
- Assist in completing IOD forms
- Assist in providing data and preparing relevant HR correspondence
- Assist in arranging training when required
- Assist in facilitating and processing study assistance for staff
- Assist in arranging staff functions and meetings: documentation and logistics
- Take minutes and distribute minutes when required
- Assist the HR Manager in recruitment and selection
- Administration of letters of appointments, transfers and promotions, and employment contracts
- Ensure that the letters are signed by all relevant parties
- Assist in taking new staff for induction
- Ensure that all the necessary resources are prepared for the new staff, parking, stationery etc.
- Ensure timesheets, leave and related processes are timeously completed for the monthly payroll processing
- Capture staff details on VIP payroll when required
- Compile salary reports and keep records
- Print and issue payslips
- Assist with maintenance and implementation of policies
- Assist in handling disciplinary procedures; including issuing warnings and booking for hearings
Requirements:
- HR Diploma / relevant qualifications
- At least two years exprience within HR environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Office 365
- Expreince in VIP SAGE will be beneficial
- Good Administrative & organising skills
- Good communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Understanding of SA legislation, HR compliance and regulation
