Mpumalanga Department of Economic Development and Tourism hereby invites unemployed graduates for a twelve-month internship programme. The Internship programme is part of the National Human Resource Development Strategy and the National Skills Development Strategy. The primary objective of the programme is to bridge the gap between theory and practical skills required to perform various trades. Graduates with tertiary qualifications in the following fields are invited to apply in the respective fields:

  • Communication – Graphic Design [x1]
  • Legal Services – Law Degree [x1]
  • CFOs Office – Financial Accounting and Supply Chain Management [x2]
  • Economic Empowerment Enterprise Development (Nkangala, Ehlazeni) – Business Management; BCom Economics [x2]
  • Trade and Sector Development (Nkangala, Gert Sibande) – Business Management; Economics [x2]
  • Business Regulations and Consumer Protection (Nkangala, Gert Sibande) – Law Degree [x2]
  • Economic Planning -Statistics / Economics / Econometrics [x1]
  • Tourism Services – Tourism Management [x1]

Requirements

  • A three year tertiary qualification in the relevant field of study;
  • Applicants must be South African citizens;
  • Permanent residents of the Mpumalanga Province;
  • Preference to be given to applicants from designated groups;
  • Applicants should be unemployed;
  • Successful candidates will be given a monthly stipend and
  • Must be between ages 18 – 35
