• Qualification(s) :
B Tech (Technical) plus 5 years Outage and Contract Management experience
Or
National Higher Diploma (Technical) plus 5 years Outage and Contract Management experience

Area of specialization: To apply effective control and project management principles during shut-down and re-commissioning of generating associated plant .To integrate outage activities and resources co-ordination within plants system areas (i.e. Boiler, Turbine, Control instrumentation or electrical plant) before and during outages.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate and control outage execution
• Influence outage planning and reviews
• Manage national contracts on behalf of the employer
• Manage outage execution cost
• Manage the quality control and assurance during outage execution
• Manage plant commissioning activities and related seconded staff
• Influence the commercial process
• Provide advisory, mentorship, coaching and support role to outage progress monitors
• Facilitate continuous improvement
