Co-ordinating the provisioning process of prepaid sim cards and generation of input and output files for all smart cards in line with business plan requirements from the various Sales Channels.
Planning and Inventory Management• Ensuring adequate stock on hand levels of sim cards throughout the MTN SP supply chain• Input into the monthly forecasting processOperational Activities• Co-ordinate provisioning activities around sim cards• Generate input and output files for all smart cards• Monthly and ad hoc reporting as required by management• Co-ordinate the artwork approval with suppliers Processes and Procedures• Ensure that all processes and procedures are adhered to at all times Quality Assurance• Monitor quality levels and rejection rates of sim cards• Ensure quality issues relating to sim cards are addressed with suppliersTechnical• Coordinate the PGP Key file exchange and ultimate use for logical orders with Channels• Monitor and administer provisioning of sim cards• Generate output files for onward distribution to suppliers• Ensure all input and output files are securely transferred to and from suppliersAfter sales support• Resolve customer related sim card queries
Degree or higher qualification in IT• Qualification through experience : More than 5 years in MTN environment, with proven track record:
Working knowledge of MTN systems such as Oracle ERP, PPMS and Single View• Solid understanding of smart card technology• Thorough understanding of system elements and processes• Multi-dimensional Relationship management• Knowledge of telecommunication industry, MTN specifically• Knowledge of MTN processes and systems• At least 2 years’ experience within a supply chain, preferably in telecoms and or smart card industry
