Outputs
1) Assist Platform and Quality Assurance specialist on projects – all tasks to be completed within timelines specified and instructions to be carried out 100%
a. Every single project that is part of the Platform teams portfolio, administrator is responsible for the following:-
i. Full administration execution from start to end of a project, that is, setting up project meetings, booking boardrooms, taking meeting minutes and distributing within 24 hours of the meeting,
ii. Documenting action points, document and administer according to minimum agreed standards and within timelines specified
iii. Following up on outstanding tasks on behalf of project manager where possible in reference to meeting mins,
iv. Book planning and scoping sessions,
v. Build and maintain project library on Content Sedibase portal,
vi. Co-ordinate change control issues and follow up on outstanding signatures,
vii. Ensure sign off on relevant documents
viii. Set up reminders for dissemination of information, e.g., when initial email is due, when content notification should be sent out, etc. – thus ensuring deadlines are not missed by project managers
2) Assist with administration of the business processes
a. Knowledge about all templates used by Platform – understands each template, what it is used for and be able to complete each one.
i. Initial email
ii. User Requirement Specs – for termination, launch and changes
iii. Business Requirement Specs
iv. Project Checklist
v. Content notification
b. Be able to raise a change control
c. Assist with monitoring of test feeds and all channels across both platforms – quality assurance and acceptance testing
3) MultiChoice database of channels – maintain the launches and terminations spreadsheet, maintain contact details lists, territory rights distribution lists, ICASA applications list
4) Pull presentations together for the team or for department
5) Assist QA specialist with the tracking, monitoring and verification of the Definite List which includes weekly monitoring of updates, clean out disparities and discrepancies, any changes, monitor progress, follow up on requested changes
