Job Summary

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the vacancy of Raise Drilling Operator Trainee for the Mining Services Division at Bokoni Mine, near Polokwane. The successful candidate will report to the Site Foreman.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct all assigned work in a satisfactory and competent manner
• Managing a raise drilling team
• Ensuring the safety of the employees under his/her control
• Complying with the Health and Safety policy and practices of the company

Key Requirements

• Raise Drilling operations knowledge
• Knowledge of raise drilling machine & equipment
• Good working experience in mining environment
• Good communication skills in English, and at least one of the other official languages

Education

• Matric Certificate
• First Aid certificate
• Competency A & B
