The National Department of Mineral Resources is contributing towards skills development by providing opportunities to unemployed graduates to gain work experience in various skills areas. The Department is therefore inviting applications for the Internship Programme that runs for a period of twelve (12) months.

Applicants must also have the following key competencies: Skills: ♦ Good report writing. Communication: Good communication (verbal and written) skills. Creativity: Innovative ♦ Articulate ♦ Good listener ♦ Ability to work within a team.
Applications must be accompanied by a fully completed Z83 form stating the occupation applied for and the centre as well as a recently updated CV, certified copies of qualifications, academic transcripts (academic record) of a three year qualification or higher and ID. Failure to submit the requested documents will result in your application not being considered.
Applications will only be considered from South African citizens, age between 18 and 35 years of age. Candidates who have already participated in an internship programme in any Government department will NOT be considered. Please take note that no applications received after the closing date will be considered.
Please take note that all qualifications are subject to verification. Successful candidates will be appointed on a 12 months contract, from 01 April 2013 to 31 March 2014.
