Bursaries in South Africa

NEET is a non-profitable organisation that offers bursaries for disadvantaged students. We also provide on-going support during studies via the online Student Management Portal for early intervention and even facilitates internships and job placements after graduation where possible.

Founded during the turbulent political climate of the early 1990s, NEET was established to support the educational progress of high-potential students from disadvantaged backgrounds, with a special focus on maths and science learners.

Since 1991, the organisation has helped over 5000 young South Africans fulfil their dreams of a tertiary education, providing not just financial support but tutelage, monitoring and other assistance to ensure they reach their full potential.

Many have excelled at their studies and gone on to become highly successful and influential players in their chosen careers.

We identify promising learners with an interest in pursuing careers in the fields of science, technology, accounting, agricultural training and development.

NEET offers bursaries for tertiary education, on-going support during their studies and even facilitates internships and job placement for them.

The aim is to ensure the holistic development and ultimately the success of the students involved in our programme. We support people with disabilities.
