Our client in the FMCG retail sector is looking for an IT Technician for their offices in Brackenfell

 

 

 

 

 

Job Title: IT TECHNICIAN – BRACKENFELL
Location: Brackenfell, Cape Town

Job Summary:
Duties & Responsibilities:
Person will be required to work on a day to day basis with the end users on all department levels
Setting up and installing of new pc’s (desktop & laptops) for users:
Installation of software for all peripherals used in the company (printers, scanners, etc)
Creation of user accounts and access to software applications

Desired Experience & Qualification:
Microsoft Windows XP/7/10 skills
Microsoft Office skills
Knowledge of cabling implementation
Ability to troubleshoot desktop and network problems (routers, switches – LAN & Wireless), must have ability to do necessary upgrading\servicing on software or hardware
Good communication skills (English & Africaans)

Qualifications:

A+
N+

Work Experience:

Minimum 2 – 3 years

Knowledge of the following software (but not required):

Python
MySQL
Microsoft Management Studio
VMVare
Microsoft Server 2000/2003/2014 skills
