Job Purpose: To administer and maintain a portfolio of new and existing commercial and industrial property loans, in order to deliver excellent external and internal client service.
Key Performance Areas:
Pre-Registration Administration:
Administration and control of bond registration process.
All files for conveyancing to be opened in terms of agreed format.
All documentation and correspondence to be prepared accurately and professionally at all times.
Post Registration Administration:
Administration and control of cancellations, releases and deal variation processes.
Day-to-day administrative duties, including clearing open items, arrears and filing.
Administration and control of changes to existing loans and term-end extensions.
Ensure that all extensions and restructures of loans are implemented before expiry.
Data and Systems Integrity (SAP):
Ensure that SAP data is loaded correctly and accurately and is current at all times.
New Business
Contribute to the team in terms of new business approvals and payouts.
Documentation Quality and Maintenance:
All documentation and correspondence (whether by email / fax / letter) to be prepared professionally and accurately.
All documents received from the client or attorneys must be checked and returned to client/attorney for correction where applicable
Compliance/Risk:
Ensure that all legislative and procedural aspects of property administration are complied with, in terms of
credit procedures
legal procedures
valuations procedures
FICA
authority levels
property administrative processes.
Administrative Support to Relationship Managers:
Provide administrative support to Relationship Managers by compiling documentation and file for new deals, and make amendments to existing deals.
Client Satisfaction:
Provide internal and external client satisfaction by ensuring service excellence in dealing with client queries.
Maintain and build client relationships.
Resolve client queries and provide information to the clients.
Team Support
Contribute to the effectiveness of the lending team.
Fill in for absent colleagues.

Essential Qualifications:
Matric
A relevant tertiary commercial qualification or degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications:
Job Related Experience:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a Commercial Property Finance environment.
SAP experience is preferable.
Technical Competencies:
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
Strong computer skills.
Administrative and conveyancing processes.
Commercial and industrial property finance systems and processes.
Short term insurance products and processes, including building, sectional and construction, and All Risks policies.
Financial acumen (basic).
SAP knowledge.
