Job Title: Manager: Private Banking
Location: Swakopmund, Erongo Region, Namibia

Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
•Primary custodian of private banking relationships with individual clients.
•Acquisition of new clients and retention of existing clients.
•Exceed sales, growth and profit targets.
•Overall responsible for a sound working environment and creation of development opportunities for sales support staff.
•Acting as a contact between Nedbank and its existing and potential markets.
•Deliver world class benchmarked customer service.
•Undertake market and customer research.
•Gaining a clear understanding of customer needs and requirements.
•Advise on product development and special promotions.
•Manage daily operations.

Abilities Requirements:

•Extensive and sound experience in all aspects of sales and banking with particular emphasis on relationship management.
•A sound financial and credit analysis background.
•Excellent analytical and negotiation skills and be able to converse with a wide audience.
•Must have a high degree of self-confidence and a pleasant personality.
•Customer service driven.
•Must be a self-starter.
•Good problem solving skills.

Requirements:
Education and Experience Requirements:
An applicable Degree in banking/credit management and/or applicable tertiary qualification will be a pre-requisite.
•Minimum of 5 years general banking experience of which at least three years in a relationship management position.
•Extensive experience in all aspects of private banking, with particular emphasis on relationship management.
•Computer literate (MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint).
•Sound knowledge of financial statements and analysis thereof.
•Completed basic credit courses, and/or one year credit experience.
•Namibian citizenship.
•Valid Driver’s license.
