Job Summary:
Duties & Responsibilities:
The successful incumbent will be reporting to the Group Financial Manager and will take responsibility for collections, processing, recording, reconciliations and reporting of accounting data. You will also maintain records of revenue, expenditure, assets and liabilities, and ensuring integrity of information.

The ideal candidate will have a strong financial acumen.

Key duties will include but will not be limited to:
Capturing data
Accounting up to trail balance
Reconciliations of accounting records and 3rd party statements
VAT and other statutory returns
Invoicing
Assist with management accounts, debtors and creditors

Education:
BCom Honours in Accounting or Finance
Active membership with SAICA / SAIPA / CIMA / SAIBA
Completed SAICA / SAIPA articles beneficial

Job Experience & Skills Required:
2 to 4 years’ post article experience in a full function accounting role
Experience within the IT and telecommunications or, financial services and payments industry experience essential
Knowledge of Sage essential
Advanced MS Excel skills
Meticulous attention to detail
Deadline driven
