Job Title: Financial Manager

Job Summary:
Duties & Responsibilities:
The successful incumbent will be accountable for the financial performance of the business by ensuring a well maintained financial control environment and management of the finance team. In this role, you will also partner with business in order to support and advise on best business decisions and mitigation of risk.

Duties include but will not be limited to:
Partner with business by effectively leading the full financial function
Manage, coordinate and implement the finance function’s strategic goals, objectives and operations
Ensuring finance systems and process are effectively designed and implemented to ensure a controlled finance environment
Address internal audit findings
Assist in implementation of systems and processes to support business and mitigate risk
Perform adhoc financial analysis on cost and profitability of services and products

Education:
BCom Honours in Accounting or Finance
CA(SA) or equivalent professional body highly advantageous

Job Experience & Skills Required:
10 to 12 years’ experience in a financial management role
Experience within the IT and telecommunications industry experience essential
Project / operational / consulting experience essential
IFRS technical knowledge and application
Advanced MS Excel skills
Africa and foreign currency experience is essential
Meticulous attention to detail
Deadline driven
